Chemical Engineer(Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities:
Analyzing the downstream & petrochemicals industry, including 1) Researching market trends, competitive environments, and the strategy and competitive position of major industry players; 2) Assessment and written analysis of key industry players, markets, and sector trends
Contributing to business development and the creation of new client relationships
Contributing to the execution of consulting projects in the downstream & petrochemicals sector
Prepare impeccable reports in Microsoft Word and/or PowerPoint
Work closely with clients to resolve issues
Assist in drafting technical proposals
Contact clients and handle queries from clients
Keep abreast with developments in the petrochemicals industry
Leverage internal research effort to obtain information and data for consulting projects
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent. MBA will be an added advantage.
Significant working experience in the petrochemicals industry with involvement in consulting and business development efforts
Required skill(s): English writing, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point
Willingness to travel for business on a semi-regular basis
Able to work with other divisions in a cooperative and efficient manner
Able to work in a multicultural setting
Adapts to various work environments
Results oriented
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
