Job Title: INSPECTION ENGINEER (Onshore based – Miri)
Contract Duration: 12 months with 1 month extension
Qualifications:
· Minimum Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent
· Minimum 5 years proven experience in planning and coordination of inspection activities, contractors and
other technical disciplines with minimum 2 years experience in
execution of the planning and scheduling activities using SAP (or other equivalent ERP system)
· Proven management skills in terms of people handling and coordination/ KPI tracking/ DBMS
· Working knowledge of corrosion and inspection techniques eg NDE, mitigation techniques, deterioration
mechanism, materials and coatings selection, failure analysis
· Ability to work closely with site operations, maintenance and technical personnel as well as other support groups,
regulatory contacts, suppliers and service companies
· Understanding of risk/ critically based inspection principles and applications
· Working knowledge of ASME/ API pressure piping and equipment industry standards
· Proven working knowledge of developing inspection schedules and coordination of inspection personnel
· Experienced in planning/ guidance of contract inspectors, NDE contractors and inspection contract compliance
· Nationality: Malaysian
· Availability: Position is required in early April 2010
