Established in terms of Royal Decree M/29 of 18 October 2000 (22 Rajab 1421 Hijra) as a joint-stock company, Marafiq is owned by its four major shareholders - the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RC), Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco), and the Public Investment Fund (PIF). Seven private-sector investors make up the remaining shareholders. Marafiq started operating as a private power and water utility company on 1 January 2003, with SR 2,5 billion of initial owner equity.

Job Description
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of various technologies managed by the Information Technology department. He should ensure the efficient and reliable operation of the systems and maintain their availability and reliability. The responsibilities of this position will primarily include, but will not be limited to:Administering MARAFIQ LAN infrastructures;Administering Windows Server platforms and Cluster;Administering VMware Infrastructure environment; Administrating various IT systems (i.e. MS Exchange, Active Directory, SMS, McAfee, MOM, etc.);Administering Backup Systems (TSM & VERITAS); Administering network security policies adopted by MARAFIQ; Ensure the efficient and reliable operation of the mission critical systemsMaintain the availability and reliability of the systemsPlanning for system upgrade, troubleshooting for systems and applications, and monitoring systems performance Requirements

Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science or Engineering. MCSE 2003/2008 Certification4 or more years of systems experience.Several years experience with Windows 2003/2008 Server platforms with an emphasis on Active Directory and MS Exchange 2003/2007.Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations,Strong knowledge in OS clustersStrong Knowledge in Microsoft Exchange messaging system and Active DirectoryGood knowledge in systems management software (such as Microsoft SMS)Good knowledge of the backup policiesAdvanced hardware & software troubleshooting skillsMaintains quality customer service skillsA strong work ethic, and is a team player with the ability to work well independently.Must possess above average organization skills, excellent communication skills, and can demonstrate problem solving skills
